| Sleep Deprived EEG records the electrical activity through the electrodes that are placed at measured intervals on the scalp while the patient is asleep.
Prior to this appointment, the patient will be asked to stay awake all night until the EEG appointment. The patient may need someone to drive them to the hospital for the test for safety reasons.
